Isaiah the Cartoon

So, yesterday we were at the Doctor's office and one of the girls told me that Isaiah looks like a cartoon character. I didn't really know how to take it, but I guess he kind of does. He has a huge head and for the last couple of days his hair will not lie down straight. He has these little curls just on top of his head...cartoons always seem to have that. The picture below shows it a little bit, but does not do it justice.

Isaiah is getting to be more fun every day. He is always smiling and trying to talk. We are constantly amazed at how different he is week to week. Sometimes we feel like we can't turn our heads or we will miss something. He is going to be 4 months next Tuesday! He will be getting a check up at the doctor at the beginning of May. He weighs 17 pounds right now, so we are anxious to see how much he weighs at the Doctor's in a couple of weeks.

Some of our favorite things Isaiah does:

- Farts or burps so loud that he scares himself

- When he is sleepy and he nuzzles in to our chest

- When he wakes up in the morning and fusses until we walk in his room and then he smiles really big

- Pouring water over his tummy in the bath and his eyes get big and he breathes really fast

- Smiling so big that his nose wrinkles up and he shows his toothless gums

- Trying to sing with us when we are singing a song to him

- Snoring so loud in church that people can hear him during a "quiet" prayer

Nothing looks better on kids than overalls

It was 80 degrees the other day, so I had to put him in his summer shirt!
This was right after he reached for his toy...it was a monumental moment worth documenting
