Bridal Expos and Sanity

It was 80 degrees here yesterday! Isaiah, my mom and I had a chance to hang out and play at the park. I wish I took pictures because it was such a beautiful day and Isaiah had a great time. The good thing is there are plenty of nice days ahead of us... this is only the beginning. We are getting very excited for the pool to open this summer and to play outside every day!

I have been really busy lately. As most of you know, I am the Event Manager at The Garden Room, a new venue in Loveland. I love my job for so many reasons. I get to help coordinate a lot of weddings, which is what I've always wanted to do. The best part is that I get to work from home a lot. I do have a lot on my plate though because it's only me and the owner. I am basically doing all the coordinating, sales and marketing for this place. It gets stressful at times, but with this economy I am thankful to have a job I love and it works so well with our family. Anyway, a big part of my job is Bridal Expos! We had a big one last weekend and the same day we did an open house at our facility. It was probably the biggest thing I have ever planned and they both turned out beautifully. It feels good to have all my hard work and planning pay off from the last few months!

Here are some pictures of my other home! ;)

Here is our booth at the Expo!

With all the wedding planning and expos, Isaiah has really helped me keep my sanity. He is so funny. The other day, Joel was trying to help me "de-stress" so he put his work hoodie on Isaiah.

Isaiah in his summer shorts! Of course he smiled BIG after I took the picture...
