Fall Changes

The beginning of fall always brings some busy activity. We added to that last week by deciding to put in new floors in our condo. We knew it would be hard work, but it was well worth it. It was a good experience too. We took out our carpet and linoleum out and put in laminate Pergo floors. They look great. We are hoping it will help us sell our place when we put in on the market next year. We also are excited about not picking out macaroni and cheese out of the carpet! Carpet is never a good idea under a highchair!

We are really busy this month. I started teaching again. I am at Kinard Middle school all day on Monday and Tuesdays. I am also still putting in about 20-30 hours a week at the event center. I feel like weddings are my life right now, but it will calm down a bit in October. Other than putting in floors, Joel has been keeping busy with work, being a stay-at-home dad on Mondays and Tuesdays and helping out with youth group at church.

Isaiah is getting so big! Joel gave him a hair cut a couple of weeks ago and it makes him look like such a little boy! He is talking more, running LOTS and he even crawled out of his crib for the first time (luckily, he hasn't done it since). Life is a little crazy at the moment, but we are enjoying every bit of it.

Before the beautiful floors (hello Mia with her laser cat eyes)

After the beautiful floors! We are so proud that we did it ourselves with the help of some wonderful friends and borrowed tools!

Silly boy!

Getting the hair cut :(

New hair cut

He looks like a 4 year old to me here. He is losing some of that "baby" face
