Isaiah had a little run-in with the coffee table. He was crawling off our foot ottoman and slipped. He ended up hitting his head on the edge of the coffee table. We knew it was bad right away by the deep gash, blood and his screaming. We rushed to urgent care where they numbed the wound and tried to glue it together. It was so swollen by that point that the glue didn't work so they had to put 2 stitches in. Isaiah did awesome in the urgent care by laying still and listening to the doctor. He was getting a little dazed on on way over to urgent care, so they said he probably had a slight concussion. We had to monitor his sleep for the first 24-48 hours. I knew that something like this would eventually happen because he is a boy and very daring one at that. The thing that is crazy to me is that he wasn't doing anything he shouldn't, just getting off our ottoman. For all the times he has crawled on things that are unsteady and jumped off things that he shouldn't be jumping off of... this is how he ended up getting 2 stitches before he turns 2.
