MOOSE
We call them... "The Gang." The gang is included in every activity here at The Russell house, they are becoming like family. Isaiah makes sure they get their doctor check ups, they sit on the potty and they even eat at the table with us. Isaiah puts them down to go night night by tucking all 3 of them in bed, shutting the curtains, praying and then turning off the lights. He takes them for rides on his bike, sets them on the couch to watch a movie and even scolds them when they have been bad.
A couple of weeks ago Hughbert apparently did something he wasn't supposed to. He got put in a timeout with the full scolding. "Hughbert, NO! Timeout!" says the disciplinary 2 year old. Obviously it helped... Hughbert hasn't been in timeout since.
When Isaiah thought that the Gang needed a bath, he sat by the dryer the whole time to make sure they were OK when they were "All dry and better."
I learned my lesson one night when I told Isaiah he could only take one to the car with us. I had him pick one (he chose Hughbert). I put Hughbert in the diaper bag, started out the door and realized Isaiah still had a death grip on Mr. Frog and Moose. After explaining again that he can only take one, he sat down in protest not leaving without all 3. I know now- if one goes they all go! At least Isaiah is loyal....stubborn, but loyal.
