Milestones

A lot has happened in the little life of Isaiah over the last week. Last Tuesday Isaiah was having his normal tummy time and he rolled over on his back for the first time. We were so excited about it that we put him on his tummy again and, sure enough, he rolled over on his back. Then, we got the camera out to get in on video. We put him on his tummy and sure enough....nothing. He sorta tipped, but there was no rolling over. He actually hasn't done it since last Tuesday, so hopefully that will change soon and we can get it on video for all of you to see.

Isaiah also got his FIRST TOOTH! He has been sticking things in his mouth like crazy including my fingers and last Wednesday he stuck my finger in his mouth, bit down and it hurt. I looked in his mouth and there was a little white dot sticking out. By Saturday he had his second tooth.

I had my first Mother's Day last Sunday. It was a wonderful day, even though Isaiah didn't know he was supposed to be spoliling me, he did with his smiles and fun personality. Joel made me a wonderful breakfast and we spent the rest of the day with my parents as the guys made us a nice dinner. I think it really hit me on Mother's Day that I am actually a mom....crazy! Pretty soon I will be wearing MOM Jeans with the pockets half way up my back (please have an intervention if that happens).
