Our friends, Marko and Jess got married 2 weeks ago in Canon City, CO. It is just 3 hours away from our house. I had the honor of standing up in her wedding. Jess is someone that I have been mentoring the last 2 years and we have become really good friends. It was a beautiful wedding in her backyard... it filled our hearts with joy to see them say "I do"...they are a wonderful couple and we wish them the best. It was also nice for the 3 of us to get a way for a couple of days. Isaiah did so well with all the people that he didn't know and being carted around. He is a happy baby!
Things have been busy here in the Russell household. Between multiple jobs and trying to keep up with our very active baby...we go to bed pretty exhausted. Things are good though, despite the chaos. Isaiah is so stinkin cute! His personality is showing more and more everyday. He laughs a lot and is very curious about everything. Today he climbed all the stairs at Grammy and Papa's house all by himself! He continually goes in to the bathroom, pulls himself up on the tub and stares in at his bath toys! I think he likes the bath. :) He moved on from his infant bath tub (it's just a smaller bathtub that helps them not slip around) to being in the big bathtub. He loves having the room, playing with his toys and splashing around!
We took family pictures in the park this week, so as soon as I get those I will post a few! I think we got some good ones!
