Uncle Jeffy and Aunt Amy came out to visit this past week. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to have the whole family together and to see my brother with his nephew. They had an instant bond and Isaiah LOVES Uncle Jeffy's beard. It was a pretty laid-back week with good dinners, time at the swimming pool, games, shopping and good conversation. We probably won't have a chance to see them until next summer, so it was a hard goodbye this time.... it will be the longest time that Jeff and I have not seen each other.

Last Sunday we had Isaiah dedicated in Church. We asked Jeff and Amy to be Isaiah's Godparents, so since they were in town we thought it would be a great time to have the dedication. It was very special since Sunday was Father's Day too! The dedication went great! Although we missed Joel's family, it was awesome to see so many of our dear friends and church community there to support Isaiah's dedication to the Lord.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY! Can you believe that Joel is a dad?!?! I think he had a hard time accepting the fact that he is actually a FATHER now on Father's Day! Joel loves being a dad and he is incredible at it. He jumped right in to the role seconds after Isaiah was born....changing diapers, burping, swaddling...etc. I can't even explain how blessed I am to have him as my husband and the Father of Isaiah. It completely melts my heart seeing the two of them together. Here is a couple of cute pics from this past week and a few of my favorites...

We are leaving tomorrow for Chicago and Wisconsin for 2 weddings and to spend time with Joel's family. We are so excited. We will get back home on July 1st (just in case any of you are wondering why the next blog is taking so long).
Ok, if you made it this far through this massive blog you should probably get back to work if your at your job! :)
