August in a Nutshell

August was so hectic, so I thought I would give a nutshell update.

Joel, my parents and my brother surprised me for my birthday with a trip to see one of my best friends, Annie who lives in Tampa, FL. It was 4 days of laughter and LOTS of talking!
I love this girl

Plus, I got to meet this cutie:

Oliver (aka Ollie) is 18 months and he completely stole my heart last weekend...

At the beginning of the month, my brother was able to come out for 10 days! Good times hanging out with him. Isaiah LOVES being around his Uncle Jeffy

Yes, that mountain beard is completely real

August was also filled with the typical silly behavior of this 2 year old. He loves helping me cook... although it's hard to focus when he does things like this

The big news right now is that Isaiah is in bog boy underwear! Don't get too excited though, he is not 100% potty trained yet, but we are getting closer. You can pray for me in the meantime as there has been lots of accidents, laundry and complete loathing of this stage. At least he is cute in his superhero undies... makes the process a little more bearable.

Every summer goes by so quick, but I love fall so it makes it a little easier to transition. I put my fall decorations up today and started daydreaming about football, pumpkin spice lattes and Halloween costumes... it's such a great season.
