Gina, Best Buddy and a Doc appointment

Lots to talk about this week. Last Friday Gina, Joel's friend of many years, came to visit from Chicago to meet Isaiah. Even though she could only be out here for a couple of days, it was wonderful quality time with her. We were able to get up to Estes Park on Sunday and do a short hike and there was a lot of time just hanging out at home playing. Gina is a wonderful friend to both of us and I know Isaiah loves her too...they had some good bonding!!
Thanks for coming out Gina...
On Monday afternoon, Isaiah had a play date with his best bud Nolan. Nolan was born at the end of March, so they are just a couple months apart. His parents are our good friends from church named Joe and Lisa. We tried to convince them to name their baby Issac so we could keep the name similarities, but they went with Nolan instead (which we love). We were able to take a nice walk with our matching strollers (we are very cool) and spend some time bonding the baby boys!
Isaiah also had his 4 month check up at the Doctor yesterday. He is weighing in at 17.5 lbs. 26 1/2 inches long and 17 3/4 head circ. (HUGE). He is in the 95% for height and head and 90% for his weight. He is healthy in every way. The doc has no huge concerns. He said he will eventually grow into his mis-shapen head and that he will probably be a basketball player someday. He also got his shots yesterday, which always leaves for an interesting next couple of days. He has not been feeling too great since because of the normal side effects. I spent most of the morning cleaning up throwup and cuddling the poor guy. I think he had every side effect except poor appetite....go figure. He is doing lots better tonight though, so hopefully tomorrow will be a vomit-free day! Gotta love parenthood.
Ok, if you made it this far reading all my updates I will reward you with some pictures! Enjoy.

Is it me, or does Isaiah look like a giant? I think the camera adds some weight

Now he looks like a little baby again. Little Baby. Big Room.

Well I haven't met him yet- but even if he is big- there is just more cuteness to love!!

Hey- whether we are 4 months or 25 years old- vaccines get to all of us (well those of us who are sensitive at least.. did you see my post about that??) Hope he is feeling better!!
